Why the partner portrait is different
A team headshot has one job: to sit in a set. A partner's portrait has six: the website, the annual report, the pitch book, the press release, the conference programme and the profile that a client reads before the first meeting. It needs more than one look, a little more time, and files that a designer can use without asking for them again.
The Executive Day
Up to twelve people, twenty to twenty-five minutes each, two set-ups: the Classic look that matches the firm's team set, and a second look chosen with you, Editorial for presence, Environmental for the firm's own spaces, Dynamic where the brand allows it. Each person approves their frames on screen. Three images are hand-finished for each, in the placement set plus press and print files, and delivered through the portal within ten working days.
Six questions every buyer asks
What does it cost?
GBP 2,950 plus VAT for a Standard Day of up to 40 people. Everything is priced by the day and sold to the firm; nothing is sold per person.
See all pricesHow long is each person away from their desk?
Ten minutes. Five or six of them are in front of the camera; the rest is walking there, approving the frames on screen and walking back.
A day at your officeWhat does the room need?
A meeting room of about four by three metres with two sockets, and battery lighting if there are none. The studio is up in 30 minutes and down in 20, and nothing is left behind at lunchtime.
The room specificationHow quickly do the images come back?
Proofs of the approved frames on the day. The full finished set, in every placement format, through the sitter portal within ten working days.
What finishing involvesWhat happens when someone joins next month?
Their session is matched to your written Standard, at the next programme day or at a catch-up session, so the new image sits in the set without looking new.
How the programme worksWho else has used you?
Corporate headshot work to date includes a global employment platform, a software company and a multi-family office; a firm is named only once it has agreed in writing. The Managing Director's portrait work has been exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery and her commercial clients include Formula E, Porsche and Aston Martin.
See the workHow it fits with the team
The Executive Day is photographed to the firm's Standard, so a partner's Classic portrait sits in the team page beside an associate's without a visible step up in quality, and the second look is held back for the places that need it. For firms running the Quarterly Programme, executive sessions are scheduled into the programme days as needed: a new partner, a new chair, a spokesperson for the results.
Styles for executives
The two set-ups are chosen from the six looks on the styles page. The most common pairing in professional services is Classic with Editorial; firms with a strong building choose Classic with Environmental.
