Six looks, one travelling studio
The same discipline with one variable changed: the light, the place, the moment, the colour. Choose a look.

Classic
Neutral grey, white or black backdrop, soft even light, head and shoulders. The formal standard used by banks, insurers and the largest law firms.
Team pages where every person must read as equal
Editorial
Directional light, deeper shadow, a darker backdrop and more presence; a three-quarter crop is available.
Partners, managing directors, spokespeople, annual reports
Environmental
The firm's own spaces, boardroom, atrium, trading floor or lobby, thrown out of focus behind the sitter.
Firms with a strong office and a culture to show
Dynamic
Movement, expression and energy, photographed against the same backdrops so it still matches the set.
Creative, technology and consulting firms
Monochrome
Any of the looks finished in black and white to the same tonal standard.
Firms with a monochrome brand, partner walls, press
Motion portrait
A three to six second loop: a turn to camera, a breath, a smile. Delivered as MP4 and GIF for team pages, posts and screens.
Firms that want the team page to move
Choosing a house style
The team page sets the rule. Classic is the safe choice for firms that want every person to read as equal: a mid-grey, white or black backdrop, soft even light, head and shoulders, no drama. Editorial adds presence with directional light and a darker backdrop, which is why it is the usual second look for partners and spokespeople. Environmental uses the firm's own spaces, thrown out of focus behind the sitter, and suits firms whose building is part of their identity. Dynamic brings movement and expression and sits best in technology, creative and consulting firms. Monochrome is a finish, not a set-up: any look can be delivered in black and white to the same tonal standard. A motion portrait is photographed on the same set in the same window, and is the only one of the six that moves.
What does not change between styles
The Standard. Whatever look a firm chooses, the crop ratios, the eye line, the finishing profile and the placement set are the same, so a partner's Editorial portrait and an associate's Classic headshot sit on the same page without a visible step. That consistency is the product; the style is the choice.
