Corporate headshots in New York, to your London Standard

For firms with a New York office that should look like the London one. The same lighting, the same crop, the same finishing, in your own conference room, on days set with you.

The New York office, matched to London

New York offices are usually the second place a London firm's headshots fall apart: a local photographer, a different backdrop, a different idea of how formal a banker should look. A Worldwide Day photographs the office to the firm's Standard, in a conference room in Midtown, the Financial District or Hudson Yards, with the same ten-minute windows and the same approval on screen. The finished images are made by the same finishing team as London's, so the team page tiles cleanly across the Atlantic.

How a New York visit runs

Two days as a minimum, which covers up to eighty people, or forty people and an Executive Day. Building management receives our certificate of insurance and equipment list in advance, which most Manhattan buildings require, and the floor contact books the freight elevator for two flight cases. The studio is up in 30 minutes. Windows run from 8.30 to 4.30 local time with the usual four windows held back.

Six questions every buyer asks

What does it cost?

GBP 2,950 plus VAT for a Standard Day of up to 40 people. Everything is priced by the day and sold to the firm; nothing is sold per person.

See all prices

How long is each person away from their desk?

Ten minutes. Five or six of them are in front of the camera; the rest is walking there, approving the frames on screen and walking back.

A day at your office

What does the room need?

A meeting room of about four by three metres with two sockets, and battery lighting if there are none. The studio is up in 30 minutes and down in 20, and nothing is left behind at lunchtime.

The room specification

How quickly do the images come back?

Proofs of the approved frames on the day. The full finished set, in every placement format, through the sitter portal within ten working days.

What finishing involves

What happens when someone joins next month?

Their session is matched to your written Standard, at the next programme day or at a catch-up session, so the new image sits in the set without looking new.

How the programme works

Who else has used you?

Corporate headshot work to date includes a global employment platform, a software company and a multi-family office; a firm is named only once it has agreed in writing. The Managing Director's portrait work has been exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery and her commercial clients include Formula E, Porsche and Aston Martin.

Who photographs

The Managing Director where the calendar and the rules on paid work by a visitor allow it, and otherwise a New York associate engaged locally, briefed to the Standard and working under her direction. The firm is told which before the day is confirmed, and the Standard document is the same in either case.

Questions people ask

Do our New York people book the same way?

Yes. The booking link runs in Eastern time, the reminders arrive in local hours and the floor contact in New York receives the running order the evening before.

Can New York be photographed first?

It can. The Standard is written on the first day wherever it happens, and the London office is then matched to it.
